Mission Statement: Building a Better Quality of Life for the Senior Citizens of North Carolina.

Q. What is the North Carolina Senior Citizens Association (NCSCA)?

A. NCSCA is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization designed to benefit the senior citizens of North Carolina. We were chartered by the State of North Carolina, June 28, 1977. The Association is designed to encourage greater opportunity for the senior citizens of our state. We have helped nearly 400,000 senior citizens understand the complicated subjects of Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D and long term care protection.

Q. How did NCSCA get started?

A. NCSCA was founded because of our interest in the welfare of the senior citizens of North Carolina. NCSCA is concerned that our senior citizens should not be penalized or impoverished by today's spiraling inflation, but should be able to live their older years with confidence, purpose, dignity, security and peace of mind. It was for these reasons that the NCSCA was founded.

Q. Why NCSCA?

A. The greatest thing about NCSCA is that you will be a part of an organization of your friends and neighbors dedicated to helping you lead a more enriching and fulfilling life. You will help the power of seniors and the Association grow across the state. Your membership entitles you and your spouse to a lifetime of savings on all NCSCA benefits and services. Plus, you will be joining a statewide fellowship of men and women who share your concerns and interests - with whom you can share your hopes, strengths and experiences. We need your support, strength and commitments to the rights and privileges of all senior North Carolinians.
